Logic Inputs Module

The SM5 module has 8 logic inputs and RS-485 and RS-232 interfaces with MODBUS RTU and ASCII transmission protocols. It is destined to readout logic states of logic inputs and enables their access in industrial systems. Ports in RS-485 and RS-232 are galvanically isolated from input signals and the supply. The module programming is possible by means of the RS-485 or the RS-232 port. Configurable baud rate: 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 34800, 57600, 115200 bit/s. The SM5 module set includes a connecting cable to
connect with the PC computer (RS-232).

Logic Or Counter Inputs Module

Module of logic inputs
The SM3 module of two logic inputs is destined to collect logic states of logic inputs and make them accessible to computer-based industrial systems working on the base of the RS-485 interface. The module has 2 logic inputs and RS-485 interface with MODBUS RTU and ASCII transmission protocols. RS-485 and RS-232 ports are galvanically isolated from input signals and supply. The module programming is possible by means of the RS-485 or RS-232 port. In the SM3 module set there is a connecting cable to connect with the PC computer (RS-232).

Module as an impulse converter
The SM3 module working as an impulse converter is destined to add measuring devices equipped with impulse inputs, e.g. watt-hour meters, heat-meters, gas-meters, flow transducers a.s.l., to computer systems. Then, the SM3 converter enables the remote readout of the counter state in automatized accounting systems. The converter has 2 impulse inputs and RS-485 interface with MODBUS RTU and ASCII transmission protocols, what enables its application in computer systems with LUMEL-3000, Wizcon, Fix, In Touch, Genesis 32 (Iconics) and other visualization programs.

Logic Outputs Module

The SM4 module of logic outputs is destined to control simple actuators through assignment of logic states received from the master device through the RS-485 interface. The module can have 8 logic outputs or 4 relay outputs (depending on the execution) and RS-485 and RS-232 interfaces with MODBUS RTU and ASCII transmission protocols. RS-232 and RS-485 ports are galvanically isolated from output signals and the supply. The module programming is possible by means of the RS-485 or RS-232 port. A connecting wire to connect with the PC computer (RS-232) is included to the SM4 module set.

HMI Operator Panels

The Operator Panel is one of the tools designed for process operators. The panel is a graphical interface between its user and the process. It provides the user with the following functions: control, monitoring, visualization and process management. The operator using the panel has the ability to enter data and control devices via the touch screen. The device is designed to work with PLCs, controllers, transmitters and other devices. The Operator Panel ensures simple control of a process, e.g. by selecting a predefined set of parameter settings, entering values from the keyboard , generating alarms and warnings, and creating reports that include important parameters changes during the process, e.g. for the quality management department of a plant. Advanced features of the device, such as animations, trends, data acquisition, logging, and securing data facilitate operator’s work and provide information for optimizing the process. Advanced visualization and a wide range of functions also help to minimize operational errors, improving the process quality.

A control algorithm for the panel is created on a PC for specific solutions of the control system and then it is sent to the panel via Ethernet connection or downloaded from USB drive. The algorithm is created with “Panel Studio” – an effective programming tool, which does not require knowledge of any programming language and operates on any PC with Windows XP / VISTA / 7/ 8. This software is equipped with communication drivers for many devices and an extensive library of functional modules that facilitate configuring functions of the panel, fault diagnostics and designing dialogues with the user. An application algorithm is created by inserting prepared library objects into design sheets and setting parameters of these objects in accordance with requirements.
