The module MR03 finds application in telemetric system applications, in which there is no technical possibilities to conduct a cable to connect devices in a wired network. In such cases , the module is used as a bridge which partially will carry out the transmission through the radio way. The maximal operation range of the MR03 module is 1.5 km in average, and depends on the terrain configuration and the applied antenna.
Accessible MR03 working modes:
l transparent,
l multipoint,
l point-to-point,
allow the creation of an extensive network of radio modules to fit the needs application requirements. Necessary parameter changes to the correct module work are carried out by means of the added configuration program ECon.

PD10 Converter Of USB/RS-485 Interfaces

The PD10 converter is a device which transmits data from the USB interface to the RS-485 industrial interface. USB interface, as the first, is destined to communicate with the device having a USB Host port, which is the most frequently a PC computer. The RS-485 interface, as the second, is destined to communicate with devices in the object side. The maximal baud rate is 1 Mb/s. This baud rate depends on the RS-485 cable length. The converter does not interfere in the structure of transmitted data and is compatible with several industrial communication protocols, e.g. Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII, a.s.l. In order to protect devices at both sides of interfaces, a galvanic separation is applied. A program controller of the virtual serial port COM for the computer PC is added to the set. It allows to exchange data by master programs with industrial objects
through the P10 converter.

PD22 Data Logger/Concentrator

The PD22 data concentrator is destined for telemetering computer systems as an intermediate element in the data exchange between the object side and the master system. The data concentrator speeds up the data exchange between devices and the master system. Moreover it allows to increase the number of devices connected to the system. Two serial ports are used for communication. The first port (Port 1) having two RS-485 interface systems, destined to communicate with devices working in the object. The second port (Port 2) has RS-485, RS-232 and USB interfaces, destined to communicate with the master system through wire links.
An asynchronous MODBUS character communication protocol has been implemented on the serial link. The concentrator has a real time clock.
Parameter set of the concentrator serial link:
– address: 1 … 247
– baud rate: 12 00, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 1152 00 bit/s,
– working mode:ASCII, RTU,
– information unit: ASCII: 8N1, 7E1, 7O1, 7N2,
RTU: 8N2, 8E1, 8O1, 8N1

The data concentrator realises following functions:
– readout of process parameters values from devices which are accessible as concentrator parameters,
– archiving of process data with a defined frequency, which are made available on demand for the master system (390000 records),
– archiving of emergency events (44400 events),
– data exchange consisting in transmission of demands from the master system to the specific device, eg. readout or parameter record.

PD51 – Converter of RS-232 / RS-485 Interfaces

The PD51 converter is a digital device destined to convert the RS-232 interface into the industrial interface RS-485. It enables the increase of the RS-485 bus range and the number of devices in the network with a RS-485 bus. It ensures the automatic steering of the data flow direction. The RS-232 interface is commonly accepted but since it has a limited range and restricted working possibilities, it is not used in industrial data  transmission systems. In almost automation systems and advanced control systems, the RS-485 interface is used because it has not such limitations and utilizes the differential procedure for data transmission, what is its main feature.

The PD51 converter is produced in two versions:

  • PD51-A – to be assembled on a rail, with opto-isolation,
  • PD51-B – as portable, without opto-isolation.

PD8 Converter Of RS-485/Ethernet Interfaces

RS-485/Ethernet converter PD8 type allows master devices to transmit data via a wireless Ethernet network to the devices with RS-232 and RS-485 interface. The converter has three operating modes: Real Port network service, serial bridge service with the UDP protocol, TCP Socket service. In the first and third mode, the switching master device of the system is a PC using Ethernet interface. In the second mode, the converter works with a device with Master function and RS-232 and RS-485 serial interfaces. The converter PD8 to work with Real Port network service requires the installation of a virtual serial port driver on a PC with Microsoft Windows. Thanks to the PD8 type converters, this driver provides the existing master systems, i.e. programs like Lumel Heat and Lumel Process, the ability to transmit data between devices with RS-485 or RS-232 interface using Ethernet network. When used in this way, the converter allows to work with one master computer in the given time. When using PD8 to support Modbus and Lumbus industrial protocols
– its correct interaction with master systems installed on a PC depends on the built-in mechanisms to control time intervals between the received transmission characters.
