LC700 Programmable Controller

The LC700 is a powerful Universal Hybrid Controller that can be used as a stand-alone or a full participant of Smar System302. Smar's experience in design was applied in a consistent way to the development of LC700 to make it more reliable and dependable even in the most demanding industrial environments and applications.

As a Universal Hybrid Controller, the LC700 was designed from the beginning with traditional discrete manufacturing automation tasks, continuous regulatory process control, and batch control in mind. As a hybrid controller, the LC700 has a logical capacity and has the traditional CLP speed, besides the control characteristics and the SDCD potency. The LC700 hardware platform, with a vast range of I/O modules and communication with the field for the main industrial networks, combined with a great group of programmable function blocks and logical elements, they turn it highly versatile.

CONF600 Plus CD600Plus Configuration Tools

CONF600 Plus is the CD600 configuration interface, developed for Windows, that offers graphic resources and easy Human-Machine Interface operation.

With the CONF600 Plus, it is possible to create, edit, optimize and download the CD600 Plus control strategies and it is also possible to calibrate inputs and outputs, monitor online function blocks, to configure block parameters, to take notes and print the whole documentation.

CONF700 LC700 Configuration Tool

The CONF700 is a Windows based software designed for configuring the LC700 Universal Hybrid Programmable Controller. It has a powerful user interface which is easy to use and learn.

CONF700 uses ‘Ladder Logic’, an easy configuration language. Its elements are Coils, Relays and Function Blocks to build a Configuration. The user will be able to define the hardware for the LC700 controller, design the control logic using Ladder Logic based on IEC-61131-3, define User Functions, test and also optimize the configuration. CONF700 also includes tools for monitoring and editing variables and parameters online.

The control strategy is achieved with Logical Networks in a Ladder style that supports hybridization with a rich library of built-in Function Blocks. The number of Logic Networks is only limited by the memory size. An included Network Manager supports enabling, disabling and changing of the execution order of Networks.

FBTools Tool for Firmware Upgrade

FBTools is an application which allows the user to upgrade the firmware of any Smar field device – FOUNDATION Fieldbus TM and PROFIBUS PA, PCI302 cards, DFI302 controllers and communication gateways such as FB700, MB700 and HI302.

This tool also allows configuring TCP/IP properties of those modules’ network interfaces.

 

LogicView Ladder Logic Configurator – DFI302 Controllers

LogicView is the tool for Ladder Logic, IEC-61131-3 standard, to implement logic networks and interlocking for process control, dedicated to DFI302 controllers’ line.

The control strategy is achieved with logic networks in a ladder style which supports hybridization with a rich library of built-in function blocks. An included network manager supports enabling, disabling and changing of the networks execution order.

There are two versions of LogicView for the entire line of solutions available for the DFI302 platform.

The LogicView for DF65 is the available version for programming of the programmable logic co-processors of the DF65 line.

The LogicView for FFB is fully integrated with Syscon, fieldbus networks configuration tool, which is integral part of SYSTEM302-7. This architecture makes possible developing the system control strategy, discrete or analog, in a fast and intuitive way supported by the user-friendly interface.

SimulationView Strategy Simulator

The new Control Strategy Simulator is totally integrated to SYSTEM302. This software tool simulates Foundation fieldbus function blocks and IEC 61131-3 Ladder logic.

SimulationView is designed to train operators, teach control automation in technical schools and universities, test control application, develop and improve industrial processes. Operators are trained on the same graphical screens developed for real operation. Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and application tests can be performed before the system startup, speeding up the engineering process and project delivery.

SimulationView connects to the SYSTEM302 database and promptly alternates between the real and the simulated environment. There is no need to import or export strategy configurations

SYSCON Foundation Fieldbus System Configuration

The SYSCON is a powerful and user friendly software tool to configure, maintain and operate a FIELDBUS based system through a PC. The WINDOWS™ graphic user interface is so easy to use that no previousknowledge of computers is required. The computer can communicate with a FIELDBUS network via a PCI or any other suitable interface.

The software includes the functions:

SYSTEM AND DEVICE CONFIGURATION
With this function it is possible to communicate with all devices in the network, assign tags, configure the control strategy, adjust parameters and download a configuration.

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
This function communicates with all field instruments, and accesses information about instrument manufacturer, materials of construction, ranges, etc. It also allows for transducer calibration and controller tuning. The on-line diagnostic report is a very powerful tool for plant reliability. Complete maintenance reports are issued according to the user’s configuration. Alarm and events reports are issued on line.

SYSTEM OPERATION
The user can have indication of variables, historical trends, alarm logs, etc. They can also change parameters and settings or send commands. It is the ideal tool for plant commissioning!
