Moving Coil Meter Moving-coil meters are intended for measuring d.c. voltage or d.c. current. These meters with built rectifiers can also be used for measuring a.c. voltages and a.c. currents. MA17P, MA19P, MA12P meters with built-in rectifiers are used for measurement of the rectified current or voltage arithmetical mean value and they are such calibrated that they indicate the RMS value at sinusoidal curve shape. The measurement of non- sinusoidal a.c. magnitudes results in additional errors. Meters are designed for mounting into panels. MB16 meters are adapted for a fast assembly rail mounting (35 mm rail) in compliance with EN 60715 standard MA16, MA17 and MA19 meters are designed for interchangeable dials. Read more
Moving-Iron Meter Moving-iron meters are intended for measuring AC voltage or AC current. These meters measure the true RMS value and their indications are highly independent of the measured value curve shape. Meters are designed for mounting into panels. EB16 meters are adapted for a fast assembly rail mounting (35 mm rail) in compliance with EN 60715 standards. EA16, EA17 and EA19 meters are designed to interchangeable dials. Read more

Bimetalic Ammeter With Maximal Current Indicator Bimetallic and combined ammeters are especially intended for thermal monitoring of transformers, cables and other electrical devices which have a slow reaction to current changes. They indicate the mean rms current value during the measuring period of the meter (8 or 15 min.). These meters do not react to short current pulses essentially. The range of these meters can be enlarged by means of external measuring current transformers which are also offered by LUMEL and can be delivered on request if the meter is ordered in the option enabling a direct assembling on the current transformer. They enable: – Thermal monitoring of electrical installation with a slow reaction of current changes (transformer, cables, etc. …). – Instantaneous reading of rms current values. – Simple exchange od dials without internal interference. – Direct plug in on measuring transformers. Current Transformer CURRENT TRANSFORMER is used for measurement of electric alternating currents. When current in a circuit (primary current) is too high to directly apply to measuring instruments, a current transformer produces a reduced current (secondary current) accurately proportional to the current in the circuit, which can be conveniently connected to measuring and recording instruments. A current transformer also isolates the measuring instruments from what may be very high voltage in the monitored circuit. Read more
