Pointer frequency meters are moving-coil meters with built-in measuring transducers intended for measuring
voltage frequency in AC electrical networks. These meters can be mounted on panels of any kind of materials.
Panel power factor meters are destined for measurements of the phase angle between the voltage and current in single phase or three-phase AC power networks. These meters are calibrated to correspond to the cosine of the angle, i.e. the power factor. These meters can be mounted on panels of any kind of materials.
The power meter is a mowing-coil meter with a built-in measuring transducer. It is destined to measure active or reactive power in a.c. power networks. The measured power is indicated by a magnetoelectric (moving-coil) measuring system.
These meters are delivered in following versions:
– for measuring the active power in single-phase systems,
– for measuring the active or reactive power in three-phase
three-wire or four-wire symmetrically or asymmetrically loaded systems,
– with the zero graduation on the left side of the scale for measuring the unidirectional power flow,
– with the zero graduation in the middle of the scale for measuring the bidirectional power flow.
BI-PLUS is a powerful USB/ Profibus-PA interface, simple to use and easy to configure Profibus-PA devices.
Intuitive in use, friendly, PBI-PLUS is an ideal tool to access information on PROFIBUS PA segments via FDT / DTM with any tool based on FDT / DTM technologies and in case of Smar, it can be used with AssetView and via ProfibusView tools.
It can be a class 2 Profibus master on the network and when in standalone mode becomes a powerful tool for configuration and maintenance, allowing powering of one Profibus-PA device without the need for external power supply and DP/PA coupler. Another advantage is its ease of use and communication speed compared to other PROFIBUS tools.
The PCI302 (Process Control Interface) is a high-performance Fieldbus interface that combines advanced process control with multi-channel communications management.
PCI302 is a card designed to work inside industrial or commercial PCs. Featuring independent Fieldbus H1 (31.25Kbps) master channels and powered by a 32-bit RISC CPU. Directly connected to the PC bus (through PCI bus or ISA bus), it provides a fast communication path between the Fieldbus and PC applications.
The PD10 converter is a device which transmits data from the USB interface to the RS-485 industrial interface. USB interface, as the first, is destined to communicate with the device having a USB Host port, which is the most frequently a PC computer. The RS-485 interface, as the second, is destined to communicate with devices in the object side. The maximal baud rate is 1 Mb/s. This baud rate depends on the RS-485 cable length. The converter does not interfere in the structure of transmitted data and is compatible with several industrial communication protocols, e.g. Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII, a.s.l. In order to protect devices at both sides of interfaces, a galvanic separation is applied. A program controller of the virtual serial port COM for the computer PC is added to the set. It allows to exchange data by master programs with industrial objects
through the P10 converter.
The PD22 data concentrator is destined for telemetering computer systems as an intermediate element in the data exchange between the object side and the master system. The data concentrator speeds up the data exchange between devices and the master system. Moreover it allows to increase the number of devices connected to the system. Two serial ports are used for communication. The first port (Port 1) having two RS-485 interface systems, destined to communicate with devices working in the object. The second port (Port 2) has RS-485, RS-232 and USB interfaces, destined to communicate with the master system through wire links.
An asynchronous MODBUS character communication protocol has been implemented on the serial link. The concentrator has a real time clock.
Parameter set of the concentrator serial link:
– address: 1 … 247
– baud rate: 12 00, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 1152 00 bit/s,
– working mode:ASCII, RTU,
– information unit: ASCII: 8N1, 7E1, 7O1, 7N2,
RTU: 8N2, 8E1, 8O1, 8N1
The data concentrator realises following functions:
– readout of process parameters values from devices which are accessible as concentrator parameters,
– archiving of process data with a defined frequency, which are made available on demand for the master system (390000 records),
– archiving of emergency events (44400 events),
– data exchange consisting in transmission of demands from the master system to the specific device, eg. readout or parameter record.
The purpose of SMAR’s Instructional Didactic Plant is to demonstrate the operation of several control loops using the same equipment and configuration tools developed for industrial control applications. In a compact assembly, all loop components are accessible to teachers and trainees. Instead of a structure for simple observation, this plant can operate realistically.
Using state-of-the-art technologies, the implementation of control loops is carried out using the same instrumentation control that daily professionals deal with. In addition to the supplied loops, it is possible to add others without any mechanical changes. This is carried out through simple modification of the existing devices. SMAR’s Instructional Didactic Plants are monitored and operated from a control station comprised of PC and supervision software.
Data acquisition is carried out using several pieces of equipment and is subsequently presented using animated displays. Modifying internal values in the equipment can actuate data acquisition as well as initiate a modification of each control loops operational mode.
