LC700 Programmable Controller

The LC700 is a powerful Universal Hybrid Controller that can be used as a stand-alone or a full participant of Smar System302. Smar's experience in design was applied in a consistent way to the development of LC700 to make it more reliable and dependable even in the most demanding industrial environments and applications.

As a Universal Hybrid Controller, the LC700 was designed from the beginning with traditional discrete manufacturing automation tasks, continuous regulatory process control, and batch control in mind. As a hybrid controller, the LC700 has a logical capacity and has the traditional CLP speed, besides the control characteristics and the SDCD potency. The LC700 hardware platform, with a vast range of I/O modules and communication with the field for the main industrial networks, combined with a great group of programmable function blocks and logical elements, they turn it highly versatile.

AssetView Online Plant Asset Management System

LD400G WH Wireless HART™ Inline Pressure Transmitter

The LD400G inline WirelessHART™ pressure transmitter measures gauge pressure of liquids, gases and steam and level in open or closed pressurized tanks. Many options of process connections are available, to be installed directly on the piping or in the tank, without the need for push lines or bracket on most installations.

WSP300 Intelligent Segment Protector for Foundation™ fieldbus, Profibus-PA

The WSP300 offers spur protection against short circuits (between + and – terminals), limiting the short circuit current in each spur. During a short circuit situation there is no effect in the other spur or the main trunk. There is a LED to indicate short circuits and WSP300 has an integrated bus terminator in the models F and P.

In normal operation, each short circuit protector consumes less than 3 mA. After removing the short circuit, the spur goes back to normal operation, the protection circuit is disabled and the LED is dimmed.

AC DIGITAL METER VMC20

VMC20 measures AC voltage and current. The meter is designed to work in 3-phase networks (3- or 4-wire) or 1-phase networks. VMC20 can replace many AC analogue meters.

AC Transducer VTR10

VTR10 transforms the RMS value of AC current and voltage into standard DC signal. Input, output and supply of the transducer are galvanic insolated. The construction of the transducer ensures accurate and fast signal transformation.

ACP301 Pneumatic Cylinder Actuator

The Pneumatic Cylindrical Actuator – ACP300 Series Combines the power of pneumatic cylinders and FY300 Series capabilities – smart microprocessed positioner that allows applications in modulating control.

More than taking the microprocessor to the actuator,the ACP300 Series is presented in linear and rotary versions, giving the user a wide choice of applications in the many final control elements such as dampers for furnace draft control, water gates, heavy valves and other applications requiring movement control.
The ACP300 receives a control signal from the controller and moves the cylinder to the exact position of control according to the control strategy and loop tuning.

With the intelligence integration to the actuator, the ACP300 allows the user to configure the opening
characteristic of the cylinder with the control of movement. In case the standard curves do not comply with the control requirements, it is possible to configure the ACP300 Series on a user-adjustable 16-point curve.

Actuators

The of valves actuators monitors were designed to be mounted on the shaft of the pneumatic actuator and when rotate 90 degrees its target metallic or magnetic activates one of two sensors, signaling the valve open or closed.

AD/AR/AL Electric Actuators

Rotary Electric Actuators are electromechanical equipment that substitute with high reliability manual valve operation on:

  • Sites with difficult access or high danger to the operator;
  • Cases demanding high actuation torques;
  • Conditions requiring fast positioning, especially on valves with large total number of turns;
  • Work regime with high frequency of maneuvers;
  • Automatic process control whose vales operate in two extreme positions or with modulated intermediary repositioning.

SMAR electric actuators are available in 4 torque ranges for operations of valves type drawer, guillotine, globe, butterfly, sphere and male, among others, whose torques are in the 20 to 80 Nm range (for AR and AL models) and 150 to 1850 Nm (for AD model), and rotations between 6 and 48 rpm. Superior torques can make use of additional adapted stages of gear coupled to the actuator output axle. All models are equipped with protection system against excessive load or when foreign objects intervene on its course. These systems automatically turn off the motor hence protecting the actuator/valve system.

The new HFC All-In-One Compact Flame Scanner was meticulously designed for continuous, intermittent, and 72-hour operation. The flame scanner's durable housing integrates both the scanner and amplifier into one subcompact assembly, which reduces overall cost and simplifies installation tremendously. The AIO Flame Scanner has been engineered to monitor a variety of flames in single burner applications ranging from small heating plants to process combustion systems. A self diagnostic program initiates immediately after start-up and will be continuous throughout the operation cycle to provide the highest level of safety and error free reliability. Integrated status lights are provided for easier fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for maintenance staff.Each flame's radiation intensity is converted by an advanced, highly sensitive semiconductor photoelement, which transforms the flame intensity into an analog signal which can then be connected to a subsequent analog I/O module within a DCS or wired directly to flame intensity meters locally.

AM01P Auto/Manual Transfer Station

The Auto/Manual Transfer Station AM01P is an auxiliary device that allows the switching from automatic to manual and from manual to automatic without bumping the process. The manual output signal can be adjusted by the frontal knob. The output signal is indicated by the built-in indicator. The power supply is isolated from the inputs and outputs.

AT303 Profibus-DP Active Terminator

The AT303 is an active terminator developed to increase the PROFIBUS-DP network availability and facilitate accessing any node on the PROFIBUS-DP bus without putting the network in an intermittent condition. This way, any network slave can be switched off, removed or replaced without harming the communication, especially when the terminators are enabled on the network end slaves.

The AT303 terminator can be mounted inside the panels with DIN rail or even on the field in boxes.

AuditTank Tank Measurement System

The TM302 and TMView Measurement System was designed for International Standards focusing applications like inventory control, custody transfer, well test using tank and leak detection. Based on AuditFlow – Flow Measurement System where the application is the fiscal measurement and custody transfer, Smar innovates by incorporating the audit trail characteristic to the Tank Measurement System. Due to its hardware modular configuration, as well the FOUNDATION™ fieldbus, MODBUS RTU and TCP/IP protocols as a built-in feature in the TM302 module, many options of architecture and connectivity are available to the user.
